The objective of this project Visit World Heritage Europe is to inspire people to experience Europe's history and Europe's unique culture. Sometimes the author makes unorthodox choices what people should know about a region, what is interesting to know, and what is fun to know. He is not a cultural purists, but he sometimes likes to be embedded in the local culture and 'do as the locals do'. He doesn't want to be exhaustive in describing a region. He just wants to inspire people and make them curious for more... To go deeper into European culture and get inspired by exciting tours in the most beautiful regions of Europe. And he thinks, that makes using this platform interesting, sometimes remarkable, but never dull.
World Heritage sites and our exciting tours tell fascinating stories of Europe's history and culture, that reflects the present in all its diversity. It is the lifeblood of a vibrant society, expressed in the many ways we tell our stories. Our creative expression helps us define who we are and helps us see Europe through the eyes of fellow Europeans. With this project Visit World Heritage Europe, the author wants to strengthen the importance of knowledge about European history and culture - and especially its diversity. Presenting this diversity, encourages others to experience it too. And that experience enables us to recognize what makes us all Europeans: united in diversity!
Tourism on World Heritage sites can help preserve and safeguard heritage management as well as foster economic development in its local communities. However, it can also erode or destroy a site’s outstanding universal values if we don't act responsibly. With tourism and the number of heritage properties growing, it is important to understand how to enjoy a trip to these places in a sustainable and respectful way, without damaging the awe-inspiring sites you are exploring. These tips will help you do just that.
